Anton Loses A Friend

The author’s father, Mr. Hugh Watson, took great pride in serving his country during WW2. Anton Loses a Friend was written on June 10, 2008 to commemorate what would have been Mr. Watson’s one hundredth birthday. The author once again reflects on her childhood and creates this touching story of Anton’s love for his grandfather and how he overcomes his loss when his grandfather suddenly dies while visiting him from Scotland. It’s a tender story of love and affection and would be a welcome addition to any child’s library.
